The Vipers managed to tie the game once more in the bottom of the same inning via Elliot Kemper's RBI single. However, the pivotal moment came in the eighth inning when Tulsa erupted for four runs, highlighted by Melendez's RBI double and Martin Reid's and Michael Nelson's RBI singles.

Tulsa attempted a comeback with Schultz's solo home run in the sixth and Scott Perez's RBI single in the seventh, but Ricardo Benson's homer in the bottom of the seventh sealed the game for Phoenix. Rocky Hirsch pitched a strong game for the Vipers, allowing just three runs over eight innings.
Game 3: Phoenix Vipers 5, Tulsa Drillers 3
In the final game of the series, the Drillers looked to rebound after a tough loss. The third inning saw Raul Miranda hit a two-run homer for Tulsa, providing an early lead. However, the Vipers responded strongly in the fourth and fifth innings, with a series of singles and a costly error by Michael Nelson allowing four runs to score.
Martin Reid's homer in the sixth inning brought Tulsa closer, but the Vipers' bullpen held firm, with Julio Resendez earning a save. Felipe Montanez claimed the win with a solid six-inning outing.
The Phoenix Vipers won the series 2-1, showing resilience and timely hitting. The Vipers' ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities and maintain strong bullpen performances was the key difference. For Tulsa, while their bats showed flashes of power, consistency at the plate was lacking, as evidenced by their scattered run production across the games.
Davidson Leigh was instrumental in both of the Vipers' victories, contributing crucial RBIs and showcasing power at critical moments, including his game-changing home run in Game 2. His performance was a catalyst for the Vipers' offense throughout the series.
